with us
We are looking for people who move between mathematics, machine learning, and biology, and who want to see their models tested against real experiments.
Access to Yale's Bouchet cluster (H200 and B200 GPUs) and cloud credits from industry partners.
Wet-lab partners across Yale School of Medicine, plus Google Research and Google DeepMind.
Open models downloaded thousands of times a month, and predictions tested in living cells.

Postdocs
Email David with your CV, two or three papers you are proudest of, and a paragraph on what you would build here. Strong candidates have depth in ML, mathematics, physics, or computational biology. Prior biology experience is not required. We encourage applications to independent fellowships, and we will help you write them.
- 02
PhD students
Apply to the Yale PhD programs in Computer Science or in Computational Biology & Biomedical Informatics (CBB), and mention the lab in your statement. Current Yale students are welcome to reach out about rotations.
- 03
Yale undergraduates
We host a few undergraduates each year, often through STARS, independent study, or a senior thesis. Strong programming is essential. Send a short note, your transcript, and a link to something you have built.

Visiting researchers
We occasionally host visiting students and scientists for projects that fit our current work. Reach out with a concrete proposal.
